Good Machine to Replace a Beginner MachineI bought this machine to replace my old beginner Brother sewing machine I have had for 24 years. It’s a lot quieter than what I had and it is simple to set up. I appreciate that the threading is similar to the old one. I would like for the thread take up lever to be easier to access. It doesn’t rise up enough to make it easier when threading but that’s minor. Over all I’m happy with this machine.

This is the one.I hThiave tried so many sewing machines I thought I was never going to find the right one. This is it! Finally I have a sewing machine for me. Really simple to use. If I can use it anyone can. Just make sure you use good thread. Thank you so much!

Great for beginners[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great machines for beginners. I had never sewn before but I picked this up pretty quickly thanks to the online videos (there’s a QR code on the machine that takes you to them). The guide book was also really helpful for beginners and clearly explains where everything is located! I’ll be using this to hem my pants and dresses.

A Good ChoiceI’d sewn extensively as a young mother and then my career and other commitments got in the way. Now, several years into retirement I wanted to get back to making some of my own things. I invested in this sewing machine and have found it a breeze to use. Everything is so well laid out and the instructions are very clear. The machine itself works very smoothly and is easily controlled in terms of speed, stitch selection and length. I am very satisfied with my choice and would recommend this to anyone for a good, well-rounded sewing machine.

Pretty good sewing machine for a beginner[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I followed the videos to wind the bobbin and insert the thread through the needle. The videos weren’t of the exact model so it was more challenging. Overall, I like the functionality of this sewing machine (The first one I own personally). The digital interface is really easy to use. I wished the plastic bit that holds the bobbin in place for winding was made out of something sturdier. I had to use a bit of force to pull out the bobbin which might break after a while and it doesn’t seem like an easy piece to replace. I liked testing out some of the different stitches. They look like the image!

The little window doesn’t have a light so have to use a flashlight to see settings. I don’t like how the bottom winds the thread. It is very hard to thread on the bar above the needle.

I switched to a brother after having a singer for many years that was misplaced while moving but I returned this and will be getting a singer instead
