Very nice for a small yard.Works great for light trimming. I was sick and tired of running through gas powered motors every couple of years so I decided to try this one because the battery is interchangeable with a Black & Decker drill I already had.

light weight, about 45 minutes run time on one battery, super quiet

takes about 5 hours to recharge, only has a one string feed so it won’t cut through very tough grass quickly

In my case, I keep all fence lines, bushes, tress, etc., sprayed out so I only need light trimming. This is perfect for me. But if you have tall, thick grass or a lot of trimming, go with the power of a gas trimmer.

Versatility without Cords!I love that the angle changes for edging vs. trimming, which makes me feel like a pro after two uses! I am a short 60-year-old woman who has had surgery on one hand, needs surgery on the other hand, and has back trouble constantly. Being able to adjust the length of the staff and the position of the handle makes this light-weight product a Must Have for all DIY landscapers! I wish that all of my gardening tools were cordless!

A great little weed-eater!Actually, I returned this because I had bought one of these last year and couldn’t seem to get it working this year, so I ordered another one. After I placed my order, I got my old one to working (I hadn’t put the battery in properly). So that is the reason I returned it. I love it! I am a 67 year female who cuts the weeds around my house by myself and this little weed eater is just about the right size and weight for me. I usually get about 15 minutes of use out of it before I have to recharge the battery, but hey, that is about all I can do before I have to rest. So, yeah, I really like it and would highly recommend it.

A lot more power than you thinkI shopped around online and decided on this cordless trimmer to replace my old one that died. Some reviews said it had no power…wrong! This little thing cut 100 times better than any trimmer I’ve ever had including gas powered ones. The battery did last about 45 minutes but by that time I need a break anyway and let it charge another 5 hours…I got time. I am a female, 48 years old and I can handle this trimmer just fine. It says NEVER bump it to feed it,so I didn’t and it fed the string perfectly. I have no complaints about this trimmer, don’t believe the negative reviews. Go buy it for yourself and believe in the Black and Decker brand. They build the best!!!

Great Buy on WeedeaterBeing an elderly woman, this weedeater worked wonderfully for me! It’s very lightweight and helps me keep the outer part of my property well-trimmed. It’s quiet operation is nice. It works very well in chopping down tall grass around trees. Although I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy weeded areas, it works fine for what I ordered it for. It came in original box with a battery, string, and battery charger. A great deal altogether from Black and Decker.

Very light weight and easy to use.Assembly was real easy and consisted of pushing the plastic guard into a slot (1 screw) and attaching the D shaped handle (1 bolt).

Just the ticket for what I needed. Very happy with it.

Light enough in weight to be comfortable.

This trimmer does what it’s supposed to do, decent price too.

Great product. I love doing the edging with it, you can never do it wrong.

Pleased with this purchaseI love this weed eater. I have never been able to effectively handle a gas powered weed eater because of the weight. This weed eater is light but does an excellent job trimming. I trimmed at our lake cabin and then at our main house and the battery is still strong. I am 70 years old but very active and do not mind yard work. This tool is great!

One of the best purchases I’ve made!!!!WOW!!!! What a difference in accomplishing an other wise loathsome task. This trimmer is everything the ad said it would be . Light weight, easy to use. The battery lasted through trimming my yard and edging the whole yard, I wanted to try it both ways. Impressive!!!

Good value for the moneyI actually paid less than $70 for this item on sale. It’s fully charged in less than an hour and the battery easily last long enough to trim around my entire 1/2 acre lot. It’s much lighter than my old electric trimmer and getting the trimming done takes a lot less time now that I don’t have to drag the electric cord around behind me. The only downside is when trimming thick, tall grass, the grass tends to wrap around the head of the trimmer rather than getting cut by it. But, for regular grass and weeds, it’s got plenty of power to get the job done.

trims well, battery life not great. It trims well but the battery life isn’t very good. A second backup battery costs more than half the price of the entire trimmer itself. Not impressed. But wanted a trimmer that wasn’t gas powered and trimmers with cords are cumbersome. I wish they’d improve battery life or price backup batteries more reasonably.
